I have a Contec CMS50F oxymeter, which theoretically records my wife's
"pulse ox" and heart rate. I have been trying for a couple days to
connect it to my laptop with Linux Mint 17.1 and/or Ubuntu 16.04.
I tried following the instructions at
https://www.fir3net.com/UNIX/Linux/how-do-i-connect-to-a-serial-device-using-a-usb-to-serial-convertor-in-linux.html
to access the data. So far, no go.
I have installed Windows programs SpO2 and SleepyHead, which can be
opened by Wine. Neither of them can find the CMS50f.
Has anyone successfully connected a CMS50f to Linux Mint or Ubuntu?
Thanks.
