Just stumbled across this on Reddit, & got a chuckle out of it: 

"There's an old technique for getting help in Linux -- 

Don't ask for help, say what you want to do is impossible to do in Linux. Experts will immediately prove you wrong to defend their beloved Linux. (While if you asked for help initially, you'd just get links to RTFM). "
