Anyone know of any scripts/tools that wrap the Google APIs so you can use them easily?

I'm thinking more about user tools, so command line or browser plug in or ... rather than libraries 
to hook into code.

For example, I want to see a list of events from the Google calendar. Should be easy to code up 
something that does that. But probably someone already has.
