*Job Description: **Linux System Adminstator / Linux Administrator*

*Primary Responsibilities:*

   - Linux Operations Support of Java and Grails applications hosted on
   geographically distributed and clustered servers around the Country.
   - Applicant will be work with other Systems Administrators to support
   the bConnected J2EE Platforms.
   - Perform daily monitoring of applications via SiteScope and Nagios to
   verify the integrity and availability of the clusters.
   - Monitor application logs and automate tasks via shell scripting.
   - Provide support per request from various constituencies
   - Investigate and troubleshoot production issues.
   - Patching systems and remediating any IRM penetration scan
   vulnerabilities.
   - Participate on 24/7/365 on-call pager rotation.
   - Participate releasing code to production during off-hours.
   - Diverse job duties with focus on operations and implementations.

*Requirements:*

   - Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 4 years of equivalent
   experience
   - 3+ years of experience in Linux systems administration
   - 2+ years of experience supporting Java and Grails applications in a
   highly scalable environment
   - 3+ years of experience in MongoDB/NoSQL/MySQL administration and
   configuration/support
   - Experience at managing multi-terabyte Databases
   - Experience with JBoss, Apache, Web Server, and Apache Tomcat
   - Assets:
   - SAN experience a Plus
   - VMware ESX server experience a plus
   - Experience with Shell Scripting
