We have the following position to fill here in the group I am with now. If

Comcast Business Class Voice group is looking for a DBA. DevOps or SysAdmin
candidate for a contract to hire position designing, building, deploying
and supporting business process automation applications and the computer
systems that provide them. Key technologies currently in use include Linux
(RHEL/Centos), MySQL, Apache, HTML5, Modern Perl, Ruby on Rails,
Javascript, Node.js, jQuery, ColdFusion, git, nagios, MediaWiki, and
several other incidental bits and pieces as required. Our goal is to
migrate from the current mostly adhoc environment to a more sustainable
infrastructure while maintaining our availability, autonomy and speed to
delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a solid Linux foundation including shell
languages, including task automation experience, knowledge and
willingness to perform system and or database administration tasks and
responsibilities, as well as familiarity with web applications and related
technologies. At least one major scripting language is expected as well
as strong relational database and SQL background, web development and an
understand of TCP/IP, internet concepts and protocols would be good to
have. Other skills could include VOIP operations, telecom, database
design, data visualization, user interface design, Agile/Scrum,
creativity, adaptability, personal responsibility and a desire to get
things done.

TCP/IP, SQL, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Linux, Shell Tools, git, SNMP, nagios, DNS,
LDAP, Active Directory, VMWare, OpenStack, NAS, SAN, Postgresql, SQLite,
SSH, Redhat, Solaris, Centos etc. Not all are expected.
This position is located in the Denver Tech Center.
