Edv, thanks for the explanation. Sometimes e-mails do not get any real response. It does not necessarily have to mean anything. It seems it usually does not, other than to indicate the subject just  was not a focus of the moment. No one considers it rude then. Mailing lists just have their own ways. Paul

well, I went to the watch the nuggets win at the bar...
it turned out to be not such a good idea to drink tequila.
I admit and apologize for the crude remark.
however I do feel frustrated that the idea of a location could be easily
dismissed AND I asked for some programming help with not even a response
of "well gee sorry this is the linux user mailing list for denver we
don't do that sort of thing..."
stick that in your learning curve.
and yes, for all I know Raymond is a fine person.
