[clue] gnome3 fork?

I have loaded it on my machine, but have not used it extensively as of yet. I planned on switching to it full time in the near future after the most recent updates to see if I run into any consistent issues.

Seems the linux mint guys weren't happy with their extensions, and forked gnome 3.  I'm curious to try it, but my experiences with mint12 on my laptop were somewhat unimpressive.   Has anyone tried Cinnamon?  (silly name, interesting idea.)
