Well, that's another advantage to using FRII. I assume they still run a
pretty well-stocked news spool.

Back when I hung out on usenet, I noted that there were several free news
servers. Depending on what feeds you want, they could work just fine. The
pay-access ones weren't to expensive, IIRC.
