[clue-tech] DNS lookups take a looooooong time

I experienced something like this when I was at my girlfriend's last
week, but I thought it was likely due to slow DNS servers from her
provider. (Brighthouse)

Maybe Netgear has some weird issue with DNS, I dunno -- what I did was
to switch from her provider's nameserver to using OpenDNS:

http://www.opendns.com/

I also use this at home, because I find Comcast's DNS to be really
sluggish at times. You might try using the OpenDNS nameservers and see
if the problem persists.
