Angelo,
In Denver, Colorado, USA [where CLUE meets] the environment is semi-arid - low
humidity with a lot of dust.
I noticed that my fans were getting louder because dust would creep into the
fan bearings. Someone told me to stick a screwdriver into the fan blade
while it's running. It stops the motor and kicks out the dust.
I do it every now and then and that seems to help with noise. Although, after
reading about the 3-in-1 oil trick a lubricant may work better.
