[CLUE-Tech] Debian 3.0r1, rescue mode from CD 1 - FINAL

Hi Folks,

The results of my investigation:

It appears that a stand-alone rescue mode for Debian 3.0r1 does not exist. 
Even after creating a boot floppy, the "rescue mode" still intends to access a
root partition.  I saw several suggestions in Debian mailing lists, etc. to
use Knoppix.

Helpful to know what to expect if you're on an island with only a PC and the
Debian CD's.  (-:
