I recently installed Red Hat 8.0 on a server without installing X. I
just want command line only, and I think that may have had something to
do with my fonts being screwed up. Then again, I could be on the
completely wrong track here. The fonts I'm referring to are in the man
pages for everything. Here is a quick snipped of what a man page looks
like for me:
------------------------------------------------
SYNOPSIS
       spamassassin [option ...] < mailmessage
spamassassin âP [option ...] < mailmessage > output Options:
            âa, ââautoâwhitelist, ââwhitelst Use
autoâwhitelists
            âh, ââhelp Print usage message
            âP, ââpipe Pipe message,
donât deliver
âe, ââerrorâcode, ââexitâcode Exit with a
nonâzero exit code for spam
            ât, ââtestâmode Pipe message
through and add extra report
            âr, ââreport Report message as
spam
            âW, ââaddâtoâwhitelist Add addresses
in mail to
OPTIONS
       âP, ââpipe
Normally SpamAssassin will write the rewritten message to the
mail
spool by default. The âP parameter will cause it to pipe
the outâ
           put to STDOUT instead.
--------------------------------------------------
I obviously have a very hard time reading this. I've been using the
same ssh client on windows for years to work on my linux boxen. The
program I use is called Secure CRT. So, my question is - is this font
problem more likely related to a linux setting, or a setting with my ssh
client?
