Quite right. The host entry should appear as:
   192.168.1.3  c211247-c.arvada1.co.home.com  c211247-c
In fact you can have several aliases for a host, just append to
the end fo the line.
Note that all three machines (B,C,D) should have their gateway
set as 192.168.1.1
